The Pickleball Professional is responsible to oversee and help develop the Pickleball program including providing private, semi - private, group and complimentary new player evaluation and orientation programs, manage league teams and assist in the presentation of mixers and tournaments.

The Pickleball Professional will meet or exceed established standards for members, guests and staff satisfaction. The Pickleball Professional will strive to provide a safe, clean playing environment for the enjoyment for our members and guests and demonstrate member centered customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Providing private or group Pickleball lessons to all members and guests
• Interacting with and supervising members during daily play
• Organizing, supervising and managing all team leagues
• Organizing and operating mixers, tournaments and special events
• Assisting with the Jonas court reservation system
• Ensuring health and safety is to the highest standard both on and off the courts
• Reviewing court condition daily to ensure pristine and safe playing conditions
• Ensuring all teaching equipment and court tools are in good working order and condition
• Creating exceptional member experiences by involving members with programs, tournaments and special events

Required Skills

• Pickleball Teaching and playing experience
• Pickleball certification
• Possess and implement effective teaching styles and techniques
• Must be highly customer service oriented and responsive to member needs and requests
• The ability to proficiently use Excel, Word, and reservation system
• Able to work under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments
• Strong team-building skills including the ability to lead, cooperate, and motivate
• Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills
• Comfortable working with all age groups and building positive relationships with members and team members
• Knowledgeable with all club policies and effectively enforces these policies
• Maintaining an accurate record of all lessons and clinics
• The ability to lead and build cohesive teams working toward a common goal
