Job description
Job Summary: Maintain the day-to-day upkeep of the community grounds and the cleaning of amenity areas.
Wage Status: Non Exempt (eligible for overtime)
- Maintain the upkeep of the community, buildings, breezeways, and grounds throughout the day
- Clean and maintain lighting at the community
- Clean office, amenity areas and turned units
- Monitor restrooms for stock and cleanliness
- Clean, mop, vacuum, dust and polish furniture, fixtures and floors
- Maintain trash/recycling rooms or enclosures
- Empty trash receptacles to include pet stations
- Clean the pools performing daily chemical measurements and report results to Service Supervisor
- Ensure that pool furniture is straightened and cleaned daily
- Assist with trash-outs of apartments after move-outs
- Clean exterior of make ready apartment homes to ensure readiness for move in
- Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking pipes, and security doors left unlocked
- Spread salt on public passageways to prevent ice buildup during severe inclement weather
- Assist maintenance supervisor/technicians when needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor, Resident Relations Manager or company
- These responsibilities are a framework, but not all encompassing

Compensation: $15-18/hr based on experience
