Summary:
Maintains inventory, purchasing, and issuing equipment to Triumph personnel. Assist with all aspects of plant/corporate purchasing operations to include; capital expenditures, budgetary controls. Develop and supervise a competent staff capable of providing materials, supplies and services in the best interest of Triumph Foods.

- Responsible for evaluating the performance of personnel in PPE and Knife Room
- Assist with the compilation of internal reports.
- Assist with the implementation of a requisitioning system, ensuring timely delivery of materials, supplies and services.
- Receive and analyze requests for purchases of materials, supplies and services; determine vendor source; process requisition; provide for monitoring receipt and providing status to requesting
- Monitor an inventory control system for materials, services and PPE/Knives that insures adequate levels of inventory are maintained.
- Ensure that all guidelines of issuing equipment are being adhered to by employees.
- Order all materials and equipment that is handed out from the rooms.
- Track all inventory of the PPE and Knife room as well as the trailer to ensure all materials are in stock.
- Performs a periodic spot check of inventory to check accuracy of inventory.
- Maintains a clean and safe work area, keeping the PPE/Knife Room neat and orderly.
- Adheres to proper cleaning methods, storage, and proper care of equipment and supplies.
- Ensure that knives are sharp when leaving department.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
- Ability to be at work regularly and on time.
- Perform all additional duties requested by supervisor on an “as needed” basis.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of each work environment, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required or preferred. - S. degree preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a purchasing department.
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees and supervisors

- The plant's environment will include cold and/or humid conditions (non-weather related), could also include being near machinery, exposure to strong odors and sight of blood.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area.
