Pre-K Counts Aide

SUMMARY:
- Aide will work with pre-school age students enrolled in the BASD Pre-K Counts program
- Location: Boyertown Senior High School and Washington Elementary School
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 3:45pm, 7 paid hours per day, during the school calendar year
- The hourly Pre-K Counts Aide pay rate to work on assignment in Boyertown Area School District is $15 per hour
- 8 days of paid time off (prorated if hired after the school year begins)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directly support students at the direction of the classroom teacher or program supervisor
- Provide instructional, behavioral and/or physical assistance to an individual student or a small group of students. Including, but not limited to: the use of assistive technology, on-task prompting, facilitating social skills, toileting and self-care skills
- Work with students on organizational skills, guide students in activities, monitor student progress
- Collect daily data and document progress notes in a prescribed format for each session with the child/adolescent based on student needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma and ability to complete a local assessment requirement OR
- Two-years of post secondary education (48 college credits) OR
- Associates Degree
- Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting - preferred

- TB Screening
