Summary: The Used Car Sales Manager is responsible for retail operations, buying and selling preowned inventory, sales performance results, employee supervision, and customer satisfaction in the pre-owned department.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Experience Needed includes the following:

• Responsible for improving sales and operations. Our goal is 100 used per month.
• Strong Desking skills are a must!
• Our CRM is eLeads.
• Strong Internet Skills are a plus!
• Inventory Management software is First Look and v Auto.
• Responsible for improving sales and operations.
• Works with upper management and Human Resources to make hiring and discipline decisions.
• Assists sales team with processing or completing sales.
• Trains and supervises sales team.
• Develops promotions to motivate sales team.
• Sets schedules for sales team.
• Oversees department inventory.
• Interacts with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for sale price & trade-in vehicle appraisal decisions.
• Ensures proper reporting of sales to manufacturer(s).
• Has working knowledge of factory(s) incentive programs.
• Attends required manager meetings.
• Maintains effective employee relations.
• Maintains CSI at or above Company standards
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area
• Participates in required training
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
• Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values
• Complies with Company policies and procedures
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned
