Duties and Responsibilities of the Director

Core Responsibilities:

· Being the keeper of the vision and mission is the primary role of director.

· Core is to prepare staff, children and parents for star rated assessment

every two years

· Is spiritual leader modeling and teaching Guadalupana Spiritually

· Develop teachers to implement quality learning environment

· Promote and recruit to keep organization at capacity

General responsibilities:

· Supervise Assistant Director and all school personnel

· Oversees the day-to-day operations and related activities in learning and

teaching

· Communicates monthly with Executive Director, Finance Director, and

Operations Director to ascertain the wellbeing and needs of the teachers,

students and classrooms and fiscal strength of organization

· Coordinate with executive director providing curriculum monthly for

each teacher.

· Monitor implementation of curriculum and report to executive director.

· Coordinate student assessment with teachers and executive director

· Maintain strong supportive positive relationship with parents.

· Respond to parents’ inquiry via text of status of children within an

hour of inquiry.

· Provide approved material and supplies requested by teachers or parents

· Encourage and praise staff daily with behaviors in line with vision

and mission.

· Provide feedback on growth needed in line with vision and mission to

executive director

· Meet weekly for growth goal with each teacher individually for 15 minutes.

· Schedule staff meeting every six weeks in collaboration with

executive director.

· Monitor the ECCERS, CLASS, and DHS requirements for every

classroom weekly.

· Make unscheduled visits to each classroom at least once a week.

Document and give one area of success and of growth for each

classroom. Follow up weekly. Keep records.

· Schedules appropriate staff development in coordination with

executive director

· Participates in fund raising activities and campaigns.

· Continue to train and grow as an early childhood professional

· Use CLASS and ECCERS instrument to document quality

· Set staff schedules weekly

· Oversee DHS and DES inspections

· Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by executive director

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
