RESPONSIBILITIES
* Developing lesson plans based on Creative Curriculum Guidelines and monthly themes.
* Meeting the individual needs of the children by interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and
* learning.
* Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
* Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the
* classroom.
* Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom where children develop a lifelong love of learning
* Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child’s age and developmental level
* Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills
* Building teamwork
* Using assessment tools and observations to track individual child development.
* Committing to continuing education.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
Strong written and communication skills

• Must be professional, nurturing, reliable, and punctual
• Must be willing to complete 45 hour certification within 60 days of employment start date
• Must be available to work between the hours of 2:00pm to 6:00pm OR 9:00am-6:00pm
• CDA (Child Development Associate certification) preferred
• Must have proof of High School completion (Diploma or GED)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
