DEPARTMENT: Community Health



JOB SUMMARY: Provide clerical support and conduct program outreach to the Quit Nicotine program. Administratively supports the Quit Nicotine program through scheduling and data collection. Initiates, plans and implements outreach events at partnering health clinics in Snohomish County to ensure the program has the widest possible coverage in accordance with the intent of the gaming compact between the Tulalip Tribes and the state of Washington. Maintains an organized and efficient records management system and updated appointment calendar. Assists the Tobacco Treatment Specialists with all special projects and grant requirements. This position will attend school events about prevention and will be around children.



COMPENSATION: $19.82 hr.



MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION



  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent


  • Associates Degree in Chemical Dependency, Community Health, Public Administration, Public Health, Human Services, or related field * Relevant Experience may substitute for degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.





MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE



  • Two (2) years' experience working in an office environment.


  • Two (2) years' experience in customer service including answering multi-line phones.


  • Two (2) years’ experience utilizing Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook


  • Two (2) years’ experience dealing with confidential matters and documentation.


  • Experience with inventory and supplies preferred





REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES



  • WA State Driver’s License and must adhere to the Motor Vehicle Regulations (Personal Auto Insurance & Abstract Required)


  • Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment.


  • CPR/First Aide Certificate. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment.


  • Food Handlers Permit. Must maintain as a condition of continued employment.


  • Must abide by departments vaccination policy.


  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.





TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular full-time position.
