Please review the following job description:

Reporting to the Head of Pricing, the Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across all Truist lines of business as a subject matter expert on pricing technology and broader Client Profitability strategy. This role will provide solutions to improve Truist’s pricing behaviors and practices, leveraging data and tech, bridging the business needs with technical capabilities. The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates high intellectual curiosity with a propensity for simplifying complex challenges and working with a broad range of teammates.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Partner closely with line of business teammates and leadership to refine pricing configurations and updated methodology, assisting with business validation thereof, and providing 2nd line support for lines of business for operational needs for pricing tech platforms.

  • -Offer guidance and coaching to cross-functional, client-facing teammates & leadership (users) of digital pricing platform across the Truist footprint.
  • -Translate complex financial concepts and methodologies into pricing tools to support implementation of pricing strategies for client-facing teammates, driving tangible results tracked through KPIs.
  • -Leverage data insights to recommend pricing strategy improvements for lines of business to drive revenue and improve client profitability.
  • -Frequently evaluate the Truist’s position in the market using competitive intelligence from vendor data or market research.

2. Configure and refine a digital pricing platform with leadership guidance – including, but not limited to, managing user access, addition of products, updating pricing assumptions, and additional teammate onboarding.

3. Develop creative ways to solve problems, both independently and as part of a team.

4. Partner closely with the broader Client Profitability Center of Excellence to create clear, understandable insights which solve emerging business needs on a short, medium, and long-term basis.

5. Leverage market data and analytics to ensure Truist offers industry-leading, competitive pricing for all lines of business, including configuration changes to ensure alignment with executive and senior leadership stakeholders.

6. Generate effective content to facilitate competitive pricing behaviors and effective client acquisition approach for teammates, including navigating market volatility and understanding impacts thereof.

7. Provide general analysis and documentation support as needed for the Client Profitability Center of Excellence team supporting all Truist lines of business as needed.
