Job Description - Pricing Manager (Bid / Proposal Costing)
ASR has immediate opening for experienced professionals (experienced and/ or retired) to support the Project teams with Cost / Price information for Government Bids / Proposals / RFPs.
Work hours are flexible – Part time and/or Full-time role
US Citizenship preferred.

Location: Hauppauge, NY
Responsibilities:
♦ Develop burdened billing rates by validating actuals, ensuring task descriptions are consistent, and validating estimates are done correctly and within compliance.
♦ Develop cost/ price information for proposals and contracts of all types – Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), Cost plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)
♦ Prepare cost proposals in compliance with the Request for Proposal (RFP), work breakdown structures (WBS)
♦ Collaborate across departments to develop pricing for proposals to be presented to senior leadership.
♦ Ensure federal, state, and local government procurement activities are followed accurately.
Qualifications: Education, Skills and Experience:
♦ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field3+ years of federal contracting and pricing experience required.
♦ Experience with GAAP accounting, forecasting, general ledger analysis, and pricing strategies.
♦ Preferred - Knowledge of Government/ DoD contracting and current acquisition trends.
♦ Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Government Regulations (FAR, DFAR).
