Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) is looking for a Principal Systems Engineer. The candidate must have software development lifecycle experience using the Agile methodology. The candidate will be familiar with Algorithm development and experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) and RF domain experience. The candidate must also have Digital Communications experience. Our Engineers provide technical direction and design to software agile development teams, and other Engineering personnel. They perform technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases, defining system interfaces. The candidate will provide engineering support and technical direction for the implementation of a portion of the program’s systems engineering program.

Location: Aurora, CO

Security Clearance Requirements: An Active and In-Scope TS/SCI U.S. Security Clearance

Required Skills:

• Experience in Algorithm development
• Experience in SIGINT
• Experience in Digital communications
• Experience with Agile development as it applies to software development
• Experience in the RF domain
• Experience of Agile software development lifecycle models
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of administration

Desired Skills:

• Experience in Systems Engineering leadership
• Systems Engineering experience on a large government software development contract
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment, being part of a highly integrated team working closely with Software and Integration teams

Required Education and Experience:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
(Typically STEM focused - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics)

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
