Job Description

Job Title: Offset Second Press Operator

The Offset Second Press Operator assists the First Press Operator in setting up and operation of Press equipment to customer-supplied specifications while maintaining production by planning and organizing jobs and continuously monitoring quality. Additionally, operators are responsible for cleanliness and assisting in keeping press maintained mechanically.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Monitors signature quality by assisting in setting and monitoring color,
• Assists in maintaining register, fold and compensation, identifying and correcting problems
• Assists in setting up/operating equipment by setting up press computers, units, folders, and auxiliary equipment and performing preventive maintenance
• Assists in webbing up press.

Qualifications:

• ​Must be able to accurately identify color defects on product
• Able to match the product to the sample from the customer
• Able to utilize the computer to ensure quality of product
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand up to 12 hours on a cement floor
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds

Pay: $17.00 - $32.00 per hour
