Duties & Responsibilities:

Process engineer to work primarily on cutting edge nuclear facility and energy projects. Successful candidate will be assigned to a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and designers to execute design and engineering projects.
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams / Process Flow Diagrams
Equipment (compressors, chillers, pumps, etc.) sizing calculations
Process line sizing calculations
Relief-device and orifice sizing calculations
Equipment and Instrument datasheets
Vendor coordination for selection of instrumentation and equipment.
Reviewing and checking the work of other process engineers to determine accuracy and completeness.
Coordination of design inputs and design activities with other engineering disciplines in a team environment.

Required Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor s degree (B. S.) / Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
Four (4) to eight (8) years related experience and/or training.
Experience in Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear projects is a big plus.
Candidate must be capable of and willing to obtain a Q clearance.
Fundamental of Engineer (FE) / EIT strongly preferred. Candidate is expected to attain PE at earliest opportunity.
