As we grow globally, we have increasing opportunities to communicate with and delight both members and prospective members in new ways. Our product legal team is looking for a counsel to join our group and help support the product management team responsible for creating our iconic streaming service which reaches members around the world. In this role, you will provide practical product counseling to enable rapid development of innovative products, including advising on privacy, consumer protection, policy, and other issues while coordinating closely with subject matter experts in each of these areas as needed. The role will be based in Los Gatos, California.
To be considered for this role, you will:
Have 5+ years of experience, preferably with some level of in-house experience working with business to consumer product development models and advising on consumer law issues. Experience with subscription business models, global consumer protection landscape, and evolving data protection and privacy frameworks a plus (but please note this is not a privacy/data protection role).
