Job Description

We are looking for a responsible, energized, collaborative, and detail-oriented individual to join our R&D team at our Rochelle Park, NJ office & development laboratory. This position is responsible for supporting the R&D Team, both in the laboratory, and with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform the application work for our final products and assist product developers with written formulas.
• Prepare and send sample requests to customers.
• Perform testing and analysis on lab samples; this including testing density, viscosity, color, pH and a visual inspection under the microscope.
• Enter production samples into our stabiltiy testing system on a weekly basis.
• Assist product developers with general lab responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• 21+ years old.
• Associated degree in a science related major
• 2+ years’ experience in a laboratory setting
• Basic understanding of food science & laboratory equipment
• Comfortable tasting small samples of alcoholic beverages (Cream Liqueurs).
• Fully vaccinated from COVD-19.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time hourly position. Minimum of 20 hours a week, with some variability depending on business needs. Expected days and hours of work are flexible, within Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm.

Work Environment

This position works in an office & laboratory setting where noise levels can be loud. Strict adherence to corporate policies, safety guidelines, rules and regulations is required. www.creamycreation.com
