Production Engineer

Hours available in TACG (TD Automotive Compressor of Georgia)

1000 Valentine Industrial Parkway, Pendergrass, GA

· Day Shift

Duties and responsibilities: Production Engineer

• Support the Production Department with moderate tasks and improvements.
• Under close supervision, facilitates Project implementation.
• Supervise contractors and vendors
• Develops and implements machine and process improvements
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to resolve issues and improve the plant.
• Continuously learning new technology; mechanical, electrical, and software
• Practice and encourage two-way communication in the department between all levels of associates.
• Ensure thorough understanding and implementation of workplace rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as necessary

Required skills and qualifications: Production Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Knowledge of 3D CAD system (AutoCAD, Solidworks, etc.)
• Knowledge and capability of electrical and mechanical design
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and PLC Logic
