Tuesday – Friday 4:45 AM – 3:30 PM
Objective:
Will utilize a forklift to facilitate the movement of products and materials in an organized and safe manner throughout the facility to maximize productivity and quality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for completing a daily forklift inspection before operation and reporting any defects to Supervisor or maintenance immediately to prevent further risk or damage.
- Responsible for obtaining essential daily production schedules and coordinating with Supervisor, Line Leaders, and or Manager.
- Will put wet/dry molds in the curing room or production lines
- Will count each pallet as it is taken away from lines or into the production lines.
- Empty Hoppers or containers water – wet concrete – dry concrete.
- Will maintain safety throughout operations of forklift and production.
Other job Functions:
- Will exchange propane tanks and replace them when needed.
- Responsible for tracking pallet count to meet production requirements.
- Perform other job functions as assigned by the Manager in an ever-changing and improving department.
Skill, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Pass forklift training on site and follow forklift safety program.
- Must have adequate reading and math skills.
- Must be able to be willing to learn in order to recognize mold type.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Must possess effective communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently and be self-driven.
- Excellence safety and attendance record.
- Excellent work integrity.
Physical Environment / Physical Requirements:
- Job function requires near/ far/depth vision.
- Ability to carry vertically / horizontally full propane tank weighting up to 65lbs without mechanical assistance.
- Must be able to sit 8-10 hours a day.
- Must be able to attach safety chains to hoopers.
- Be exposed to temperature extremes inside or out.
- Prolonged standing or in a stationary position.
- Complete repetitive movements.
- Handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Ascend / descend stairs.
- Ability to work around in a manufacturing environment including noise and dust.
- Wear all the required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision, and hardhat protection).
- Ability to remain upright with constant moving and lifting for extended periods of time.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
