Production Operator | $18/hour - Days | $21/hour - Nights

Openings include 6 am to 6 pm and 6 pm to 6 am! Work schedules include rotating weeks of: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday and Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

A global producer of protein solutions for the food and beverage industry, located in Lytton, IA is searching for Production Operators to join their growing team! This producer works with raw materials originating from beef, pork, chicken, turkey, lamb and fish. The Production Operator works to ensure fundamental food safety and quality in products.

Production Operator Responsibilities:

• Works in various areas of production, including documentation of processes, dumping, girding, processing, packaging and finishing.
• Assist in ensuring fundamental food safety and food quality practices
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Perform basic maintenance duties, including proper storage of equipment used in production
• Regularly clean work area, including sweeping, and occasionally sanitize/hose the production floor area

Requirements:

• Attention to detail, including quality of product
• Ability to work at a fast paced environment
• Standing for 12+ hours per shift
• Repetitive grasping, reaching, and lifting of up to 60lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop
• Ability to work in all work environments, including, high noise levels, exposure to dust, and all weather conditions
