Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Determine and execute production work schedules.
- Schedule and load all color information daily for processing into the computer.
- Keep the production managers, CSR's and QA Manager informed on quality issues.
- Verifies correct additives for production runs.
- Ensure productivity levels and scheduled production materials are within designated timescales.
- Ability to commit to extended work hours during peak workdays.
- Customer support and internal liaison.
- Daily inventory tracking.
- Color Data Testing (control vs manufacturing) to ensure product performance.
- Maintain and issue color production orders.
- Ensure that all work is complete at the end of the working day.
- Resolves problems in manufacturing including vendor deliveries, under minimal supervision and interacts with all levels of management.
Good communication skills and the ability to build rapport with managers and team members.
Strong computer skills required (Word, Excel, Access, Email).
Experience in manufacturing a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with spectrophotometer or colorimeter for QA is a plus.
Preferred but not required - some project planning experience or education.
Ability to work both independently and take directions from others.
