RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the safety of the personnel and making sure all employees are properly trained in their jobs. Must maintain that operators are meeting the proper efficiencies with a minimum of scrap on all jobs. Also, that all personnel are following all company and safety rules. Maintain all equipment to ensure that all presses are set-up correctly and done in an efficient manner and that all equipment is being used in a proper and safe manner. Ensure that all products meet the quality standards of Instaset and our customers. Is in charge of assigning all work assignments to employees that they supervise. Must at all times promote team work and high morale through their actions, must be a good role model. Have a good understanding of plastic process theories, process capability and must understand all phases of their department. Maintains a good record of attendance. Follow company lockout / tag out procedures. Must have a working knowledge of Plex system pertaining to job responsibilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Mandatory

Basic reading, writing, math and good communication skills

Must have working knowledge of injection molding and process capability.

Must be able to lift 25 - 50 pounds

Operate a lift truck and an overhead crane

Crane Training/Permit

Lockout / Tag out training

Desired

Knowledge of molding machine, general maintenance, ultrasonic and vibration welders, color concentrating
