PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Making, Night Shift

Supervise the control activities of the production process and guarantee a correct execution within the defined times and modalities to ensure the respect of production, quality and storage targets.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate production teams to ensure the proper and effective execution of the line operation activities, to achieve production targets and goals
• Oversee the materials availability verification process, preparation of the production line equipment and operation resources, correct execution of the production schedule in collaboration with the Planning department
• Generate of the production shift report
• Collaborate with the supply chain department and the in the weekly planning of the production schedule
• Advise the Planning department in case of inconsistencies between the planned schedule and the actual production capacities, and proposes modifications of programs or sequences, with the aim of optimizing customer service and rationalizing corporate costs
• Collaborate with the warehouse team in the activities of rotary material inventor
• Responsible for ensuring safe work conditions for the personnel and for verifying the observance of the safety legislation and the relative Group rules and the use of the required PPE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, Industrial, Mechanical or Related Engineering as preferable
• 3 + years of experience in Production line or Chemical related production process in a global manufacturing company, preferably within the FMCG industry.
• knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes
• Proven analytical competences
• Proven record on hiring and training employees
• Microsoft Office, Quality Windows system, Wonderware software
• ERP (SAP as a plus
• FIFO System
• Material handling documentation process
• Strong leadership
• Ability in managing and developing people.
• Excellent communication skills
• Availability to work on shifts
