The Assembly Line Associate is responsible for installing and inspecting parts in a production setting in a on line or parts cage setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform standard part Installation and capable to complete actions by following the SMP
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions
- Inspect parts as installed to ensure correct fitment of part
- Work will be performed in a manufacturing facility and can include working on the assembly line
- The assigned work load would be performed either in a dedicated safety cage, in a sequence cell, or on a moving assembly line
- Independent with ability to work with little supervision
- Inspect parts for non-conforming materials or defects
- Other duties as assigned by management
- Jobs may require exposure to inclement weather conditions
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.
- This is a physically demanding position.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays; overtime when required.
- 2 to 3 years of Quality Technician/Production Assembly experience
- Valid US driver’s license
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
