Professional Land Surveyor - Project Surveyor

EFK Moen, LLC, a civil engineering design consulting firm, is currently seeking a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) licensed in Missouri and/or Illinois, for a full-time position. This individual will interface with field staff, managers, engineers, and external clients to support surveying efforts of all types, and the daily operation within the Survey Department. Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing projects to make certain they are completed on time & within budget
• Prepare project budgets, proposals, and technical reports
• Provide coordination and expertise related to the work of field survey crews and office staff
• Review and certify completed survey work
• Prepare accurate computer drafted surveys, plats, topographic surveys, engineering surveys
• Research and prepare land descriptions and maps in accordance with applicable standards

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Surveying Engineering, Land Surveying, or Construction Management with Land Survey Specialization or comparable; and/or Certified as a Professional Land Surveyor in Missouri and/or Illinois
• 3 years of experience in land surveying
• Project management experience preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Capability to perform mathematical computations/calculations
• Ability to review plats, maps, reports, descriptions, surveys, digital map models, etc.
• Competence to understand and interpret plans, and resolve boundary surveys
• High level of personal integrity, ethics, and professionalism
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Capacity to develop and maintain effective working relationships with leadership and coworkers
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
