Job description

The Program Coordinator works with a team to oversee Open Society University Network (OSUN) courses, with a special emphasis on the day-to-day management of Network Collaborative Courses, a program which unites more than 100 faculty from 25 institutions across the globe in more than 30 courses annually.

The successful candidate will have experience in international education, strong organizational skills, and experience with financial management, including strong skills related to budgeting and financial reporting.

Essential Duties

Budget and Financial Management

• Support faculty with the development of their course budgets and budget amendments; monitor spending on course budgets; assist in producing program’s financial reports; prepare agreements with partner institutions and consultant contracts; issue and request invoices; process and track payments; reconcile expenses; manage event-related expenses; and communicate on financial matters with faculty, OSUN Secretariat, student workers, budget office, other Bard administrative staff, and vendors.

Data Collection and Management

• Assist with the collection, management, and analysis of OSUN course data, including the administration of student surveys and faculty reports; track data on program evaluation indicators, such as enrollment numbers; compile data required for program reports and course evaluations; assist in drafting program reports.

Event Organization

• Organize logistics for program events, including in-person faculty meetups and online workshops; support info sessions on OSUN courses.

Communication

• Design info materials on the program and OSUN course offerings; draft program updates; assist in preparing communications to students, faculty, and other stakeholders.
