Victory Recovery Partners in Farmingville is looking for an experienced CASAC/MSW/LMSW to join our rapidly growing team as a Program Coordinator for our methadone program.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the management of methadone patients within our clinic. This includes but not limited to: Gathering needed documents to admit clients to the methadone program, assessments of new clients, oversight of the program and other counseling staff. This candidate will consult with the medical director, VP of clinical affairs, and the executive director of behavioral health on all matters related to the program.

Other Responsibilities and Duties

The Program Coordinator is expected to:

*Serve as the senior staff person for supervision and oversight of the counseling staff. *Participate in recruitment, development and implementation of performance improvement, development or training for the counseling staff on matters related to the program. *Assess program clients and participate in a comprehensive evaluation of each client to screen for substance abuse history/issues. *Provides support for crisis intervention. *Participate in staff meeting. *Collect all necessary admission documents prior to a patient’s consideration for admit of transfer to the program. *Document, implement and update the treatment and/or individual service plan for clients as assigned. Prior experience in a methadone program is preferred. *Maintain all documentation requirements in a timely manner. *Identify and develop relationships with community-based providers. Background in Case Management a plus - strong knowledge of community resources. *Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

*Valid New York State CASAC-T, CASAC, MSW or LMSW credential required. *High School Diploma required; BA/BS preferred. *One – two years’ experience working with clients with history of alcohol or substance abuse preferred. Prior experience in a methadone program is preferred.
