Job description

The Program Evaluator will lead all evaluation components for the Louisiana Cancer Prevention & Control (LCP) programs including the following: development and implementation of evaluation plans; development of evaluation reports; and the development and implementation of quality improvement (QI) feedback and assessment plans and tools. He/She will also lead epidemiological initiatives through knowledge of emerging best practices.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Health Communications or related field and three years experience. A Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated or non-health field with three years of relevant full time work experience in program evaluation may substitute for the degree discipline requirement. A Master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience. Preferred experience includes: Experience evaluating public health or community programs, knowledge of and experience working in cancer control, and experience working with clinical data.
