- 3+ years' experience in program or project management
We are seeking a Program Manager to support the development and launch of a greenfield technology solution that will be used by Global Engineering Services (GES) to manage its end-to-end financial planning and execution processes. Given the amount of growth, expansion, and improvements, Amazon is consistently focused on capital management and its effectiveness.
The GES organization is responsible for the design and construction of all Amazon fulfillment related facilities across the Amazon global network. This strategic organization builds and invests in the capacity to deliver growth for Consumer Fulfillment, Amazon Transportation, Amazon Air, Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) and PillPack.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate and partner with business teams to define and solve problems that impact customers
- Build relationships, identify stakeholders, and influence other teams within and across organizations and external teams.
- Proactively identify problems and opportunities and perform root cause analysis/diagnosis leading to significant business impact
- Define analytical approaches to uncover new insights and formulate recommendations that improve processes
- Effectively manage project and stakeholder meetings, drive discussions to conclusion, and keep projects on track
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
