Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Programmer Analyst Senior in Milwaukee, WI to design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements. Provide application software development services or technical support in a defined project. Develop program logic for new applications and analyze and modify logic in existing applications. Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain software applications. Maintain, test, and integrate application components. Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented. Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs. Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation. Suggest technical alternatives and improve and streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis, and forecasting activities for projects and tasks. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Provide leadership and guidance to other technical professionals.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience: utilizing TrustDesk wealth products, including Wealth Management and Trust; utilizing COBOL/, JCL, VSAM, CICS, DB2, Easytrieve, Insync, Xpeditor, Control-M, and Syncsort; converting business designs into technical design specifications, writing detailed estimates, and reviewing the work of others for adherence to the technical design; coordinating with internal and external project companions for the design and delivery to ensure client needs are met on projects; liaising with the client and business analyst to analyze and design solutions that meet their needs; working directly with clients in understanding their specific product customization requirements and taking clients through the product development lifecycle phases of Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, Technical Design, Development, Testing, Implementation and Warranty support; coordinating technical aspects of user acceptance testing with clients; resolving client production issues while maintaining service level agreements (SLA) for completion of overnight client processing and avoiding end client impact.
