Position Overview

Metallon Inc. is an industry leader in progressive dies and precision metal stamping located in Thomaston CT, is seeking a 1st shift Progressive Tool and Die Maker with advanced capabilities and a positive attitude.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Class A Toolmaker
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot progressive dies and fixtures.
• Build and assemble new dies and fixtures to print specifications.
• Strong Knowledge of Minster power presses and associated production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debugging new tools
• Maintains progressive dies and secondary dies
• Root cause analysis & Problem-solving capabilities

Qualifications and Requirements:
· 5+ years of experience
· Diversified die making experience capable of all types of machine tools.
· A background in precision metal stampings is required
