Summary
Required by regulatory mandate to be compliant with federal and state regulations. The Ethics &Compliance (E&C) Operational Compliance PMO is seeking a resource to support compliance projects for the Energy Regulation Compliance Program (ERCP).
Goals & Objectives
The goal of the ERCP is to maintain a safe and reliable electric transmission and distribution system. E&C manages compliance to regulatory requirements based on risk and leveraging key components of the ERCP Program Model. A Compliance Lead is assigned to each of the ~4000 requirements in the Program and each requirement is subject to 1 or more risk-based compliance activities annually. The Compliance PMO tracks and reports on the status of these activities.
Specific Tasks/Deliverables
- Risk-based activities project supportProvide support to PMO team to manage risk-based compliance activities across the enterprise. This includes monitoring completion status of activities, coordinating meetings, recording meeting notes, updating the risk-based activities tracking files, drafting status reports, and other tasks as required
- Risk-based Activities Tracker maintenance and improvementsCreate and maintain a data dictionary for the Risk-based Activities Tracker and any related files
Detect and correct missing or incorrect entries in the Risk-based Activities Trackers
Design enhancements to the Risk-based Activities Tracker to include mitigation activities and data request tracking
Analyze Risk-based Activities Tracker data and produce monthly status reports to ensure status is reflected accurately
Perform testing of risk-based activities dashboards to validate information is reported accurately.
Required Competencies/Skills
Project Support Analyst skillsExperience managing technical or complex cross functional projects
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Accuracy with large information files and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Excel performing advanced functions such as VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, charts, and graphs.
Experience documenting data dictionaries and business requirements
Business Process Management understanding
Excellent communication/presentation skills (oral & written)
Expert with Microsoft Excel, Project, SharePoint
Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio
Familiar with federal or state energy regulations and their impact on utility operations
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
