Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent (required)
  • Electrical Experience: 10 years (required)
  • Driver's License (required)
  • Journeymen Electrical License (preferred)
  • Experience in Medical TI's and Ground ups (preferred)
  • Experience in electrical project management (required)
  • Solid knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals and techniques, as well as accounting principles.
  • Must be capable of electrical estimating - experience with Accubid Estimating systems is strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient with project management tools and software.
  • Experience with job cost systems to budget, evaluate reports and project final costing.
  • Experience with building critical path schedules for projects.
  • Experience with design-build is strongly preferred.

As a Project Manager/Estimator, you can expect to be supported from the top-down and bottom-up here at Northstar Electrical while being challenged. You will work closely with our Leadership team to manage existing projects, estimate new projects, and cultivate new relationships. You can also expect to use your experience and resources to support on some residential, low voltage, and service call type work by walking jobs, quoting small project work, and fielding service call jobs while supporting our newer Journeymen and Apprentice along the way.

In your management role, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing the many relationships we have with our field staff, our clients, our trade partners, such as Apprenticeship programs, Subcontractors, Vendors, Suppliers, and many more.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
