SUMMARY

Compiles, summarizes and communicates process plan details that impact programs at sourcing, during launch, and during engineer changes. Liaison between PPCC and Cost Planning to support timely and reliable costing for current and future process plans.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Compile process plan details associated with current processes.
  • Summarize process plan details and provide for reviewing cost impact.
  • Work with team to develop process plan summaries for future programs.
  • Update online program tracking systems to assure timely and correct information.
  • Manage compilation and tracking of Engineering Changes related to all programs, current and under development.
  • Summarize and communicate cost impacts of all Engineering Changes.
  • Communicate process plan details with Cost Planning and PPCC teams.
  • Support communication of process plans to Preproduction Team for Process Design Reviews.
  • Support PPCC Program Managers, as applicable, with program launch activities. Including, but not limited to pre-HVPT events and HVPT (Run at Rate) events, Engineering Change tracking, equipment status and process monitoring.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S) in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or Finance; or an Associate's degree (A.A.) from two-year college or technical school in STEM or Finance with greater than one year related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions to practical situations, along with drawing and interpreting graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
