Union-Snyder Aging on Aging, Inc., a non-profit Area Agency on Aging, is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Protective Services Worker position. This position is 37.5 hours per week and is located in our Lewisburg office. We are an established, stable Agency with a professional work environment and a family-friendly/work-life balance culture. As a Protective Services Worker, you will have a consistent workload and will be responsible for investigating reports of elder abuse, neglect, exploitation and abandonment; taking appropriate action and/or providing protective services; and maintaining a caseload of vulnerable consumers, ensuring that all documentation is thorough, accurate and properly recorded. This position also requires some on-call, which is extra compensation. The successful candidate must be precise, thorough, accountable, and driven to deliver high-quality work.

Applicants will possess a Bachelor’s degree with a social welfare major with coursework in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences, and two years of experience in public or private social work including one-year direct aging program experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and advanced computer skills are required. Must have a valid PA driver’s license and current auto insurance.

The starting hourly wage is $19.92 per hour which is based on a 37.5 hour work week, Monday through Friday.
