Quince Orchard Psychotherapy was founded to fill the gap in high quality yet financially-accessible mental health services in the DC metro area. Quince Orchard Psychotherapy is seeking a dynamic and collaborative part-time Psychiatric Consultant to join our growing team!
The Psychiatric Consultant is responsible for the clinical oversight and guidance to a team of 4 remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. The Psychiatric Consultant will ensure services are delivered appropriately and within our quality standards by performing random chart audits, medication reviews and offering general peer support.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Reviews the quality and effectiveness of care given by the clinical providers through chart audits, medication reviews and peer support meetings.
- Participates within the department in establishing the standards of patient care, policies and objectives; communicates standards, policies and objectives to staff when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensed to practice Psychiatry in Maryland (MD or DO)
- Graduate from an accredited Medical School with a Doctorate
- 5 or more years of Psychiatric experience working with patients across the lifespan
- Experience with providing peer support, clinical guidance and oversight
- Experience with EHR (AthenaHealth preferred)
This is an Independent Contractor part-time position.
