Quality Assurance Analyst Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $40/hr
- Worksite: Leading technology and data solutions company (Dallas, TX, 75254, Will travel to customer sites)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life
- 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment
Quality Assurance Analyst Responsibilities:
- Review application requirements/ User Stories and project documentation and asks follow-up questions as needed to gain a full understanding of requirements/Feature/Epic.
- Work with the Scrum Master, participate in ceremonies and represent the Quality Assurance team. Prioritize test conditions by working closely with the project team to determine priorities.
- Document and maintain functional and non-functional test cases and other test artifacts such as Test cases, Test Data, Data validations, and test environments and associate them to the User Stories in AzDO.
- Execute the Test cases, track the results, and demo them to business as needed.
- Author SQL Queries to fetch data from various databases, should be a strong data conversion engineer.
- Own all aspects of a program from a QA perspective including but not limited to manual testing, functional testing, database testing, and regression testing.
- Analyze and review the test results, and share them with teams and business.
- Ensure QA standards are maintained and followed across the projects and phases.
- Ensure the client's QA processes are followed throughout the test cycle.
- Provide feedback to the project team and other internal customers on production readiness.
- Responsible for creating high-level, mid-level, and low-level planning documents for the team as needed.
- Identify and analyze the Risk at an early stage of the project and come up with mitigation plans as needed.
- Maintain an advanced level of knowledge and expertise on Test management tools and quality assurance concepts and methodologies (Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban, Squad).
- Represent the team in major collaborative efforts and on key IT and Company objectives.
Quality Assurance Analyst Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in testing applications.
- 5+ years of experience in Banking and financial domain.
- Experience in CRM, Banking, loans, and mortgages will be a value add.
- 2-4 years of knowledge of Microsoft Test Manger tool set.
- Excellent understanding of the SDLC process and familiarity with the various testing methodologies (e.g.: SCRUM, Kanban, TDD, BDD, and Squad Models).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must adhere to corporate/team etiquette.
- Flexible and creative in handling multiple activities and contentions in priorities. Takes initiative to resolve issues and tackle roadblocks.
- Functional Tester with good communication skills and capable of authoring Queries, work in an Agile environment, participate in Poker planning, author test cases, execute them, demo to client, organize Defect triages and report the results back to key stakeholders.
