Position Summary: Quality Assurance Coordinator supports the day-to-day functions and documentation of the Quality Assurance operations across the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand. Responsible for monitoring quality complaints, conducting product inspections, and ensuring quality control procedures and processes are being followed. Inputs information into various systems or databases and maintains supplier documentation. Maintains policies, procedures and documentation that assure the highest level of quality. Interacts closely with Purchasing and Distribution Operations internal teams and external customers and vendors. This position is located at our distribution center in Plano, TX.
Accountabilities/Duties:

• Data entry for product quality complaints and baking concerns
• Records notes and updates for quality complaints and baking concerns
• Tracks quality complaints and supplier reimbursements
• Maintains all supplier documentation records
• Assists with creating and reviewing specifications, documentation, and procedures
• Maintains library of products
• Assists on product quality audits and reviews for new products or product matches
• Conducts product inspections and spot checks
• Conducts internal systems audits
• Assist Warehouse Team with expiration dating and COA verifications
• Assist with product withdrawal and recall process

Work Experience Requirements:

• Good data collection and analysis skills
• Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of quality assurance
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
• Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards in food service, food distribution or food manufacturing
• Must have strong communication skills and be comfortable dealing with Bakery
• Operators, vendors, and internal team members
• Self-motivated and creative thinker to solve problems
• Demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills for filing, maintaining, and controlling supplier documentation and procedures
• Ability to work in a team environment and individually as required
• Must be able to switch tasks quickly and prioritize workflow

Education/Certification:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or similar field
• BA or BS strongly recommended
