Job Responsibilities
- Oversee laboratory quality control at the Millington Facility
- Ensure Production Department receives timely and valid Final Product Quality data
- Oversee system audits (internal and external), management review and QA/QC related document control
- Supervise site staff of Laboratory Technicians
- Work closely with KPC Research & Development on plant and corporate related quality initiatives, projects, and solutions.
- Report quality metrics monthly, identify root cause and solutions to quality issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Engineering; Advanced degree preferred
- At least three years of experience in a laboratory environment; Experience with ISO Management systems preferred
- Familiarity with ICP, HPLC, XRF and Particle Size Analysis/Characterization instruments
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control regarding laboratory analyses
- Excellent planning, analytical and communications skills
- Self-starter and problem solver
- Organized and able to maintain good records / files
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
