What are we looking for?!
American Products is currently looking for a Quality Technician to join our team!
Our Quality Technicians are responsible for performing process audits, product inspections, and performing functional testing as needed.
What would my job look like?

• Inspects products for proper dimensions, and assembly according to customer specifications.
• Performs process audits, product layouts and problem-solving analysis.
• Inspects material for visual defects.

What are some skills/experience the ideal candidate would have?*

• Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or technical training or 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment working with sheet metal.
• Ability to read and comprehend blue prints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments, such as: calipers, micrometers, protractors; ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in order to compute rate, ratios, & percent.
• Ability to understand and follow ISO/Operational Procedures.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
