POSITION: Quality Technician
LOCATION: Albion, Mi
COMPENSATION: $15.00-$17.00 Hourly
SCHEDULE: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Position Overview:
This is a full-time position. This position is assigned to day shift. Overtime work may be required as job duties demand.

Primarily responsible for support of all Quality functions. Provide technical assistance with Quality system functions and support of all company production operations.

This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 50 pounds, endure prolonged standing, dexterity, and stamina is necessary.

Quality Tech performs the following duties:

• Develop inspection techniques using programmable test equipment such as Optical Gaging,
• Coordinate Measuring Machine and Micro-view.
• Provide support to all quality personnel that will include but is not limited to CAPA’s, customer complaints, ECO processing, coordination of customer audits, new product development efforts, and all production operations.
• Investigates and resolves non-conformances such as on-line problems and MDR’s.
• Coordinates and trains both company and supplier employees in the proper application of inspection methods as needed.
• Conducts investigations as needed in support of company quality.
• Works with Quality Engineers to ensure valid cause and corrective action by suppliers.
• Operates within company quality system.
• Active participant in continuous improvement and lean projects.
• Keeps current in the field with internal and external education and training.
• Acts as QA liaison in cross-functional projects and company representative to suppliers/customers.
• Assists with quality systems audits.
• Adheres to all safety regulations.
