Boutique residential real estate firm seeks a Pre-Closer / Receptionist for our Sandy Springs office. Excellent customer service is a top priority with the ability to handle a large volume of files. The Pre-Closer plays a critical role in shaping our firm's image with our clients, vendors, and business partners. Must be knowledgeable, responsive, helpful and courteous with clients and fellow team members in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in real estate is preferred but not required. Compensation is commensurate with experience with full benefits, 401k and bonus eligibility.

RECEPTIONIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Staff the reception area from 9am-5pm every weekday
  • Greet all visitors and clients upon arrival to the office, following up as needed to ensure all of our guests are cared for and attended to while on site
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls to the office, proactively assisting our clients with what they need where possible
  • Process client requests for information, following up with appropriate staff member(s)
  • Route all incoming/outgoing mail, packages and deliveries
  • Keep reception area, front lobby and conference rooms clean and stocked with office supplies, snacks and drinks (reordering or submitting reordering lists to office attorney as needed)
  • Provide best-in-class service to our clients
  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Other projects or tasks, as requested

PRE-CLOSING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Setup files
  • Order title
  • Read and clear a title report
  • Prepare title commitments
  • Prepare residential settlement statements and/or closing disclosures as well as other closing documentation
  • Provide best-in-class service to our clients
  • Communicate accurately and punctually with lenders, real estate agents and members of the team
  • Connect with realtors, loan officers, builders and investors
  • Work in a fast-paced and unpredictable environment

POST CLOSING RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Record all necessary closing documents and process disbursements in a timely manner
  • Issue and mail out original owner's policies with original and recorded warranty deed
  • Mail out original and recorded security deed to lender
  • Communicate accurately and punctually with all parties (e.g. buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, builders and investors)
  • Provide follow up assistance as requested by clients

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in residential and/or commercial real estate
  • Manage confidential data
  • Ability to work under pressure and be highly adaptable
  • Act with a sense of urgency
  • Well organized with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to provide best-in-class customer service
  • Ability to engage all members of the team
  • Excellent communication skills on the telephone, in person and via email
  • Experience with real estate settlement software (e.g. SoftPro) is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
