Key Responsibilities:

Maintains business properties- rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases.

Manage conversion, new construction and remodel projects as either the GC, CM or both

Supervise the architect and engineers from plan development through permit approval

When acting as a CM, oversee the Contractor and vendor bidding process, analyze proposals, make recommendations for award and manage the GC and vendor relationships from award through project completion.

When acting as the GC, oversee the subcontractor bidding process, analyze proposals, make recommendations for award and manage project to completion

Purchase and/or coordinate installation of owner-provided items

Maintain cost control and budgeting for construction and remodel projects

Coordinate with Clients to ensure smooth turnover following completion of the project.

Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met

Qualifications

Minimum Ten years of experience in project & construction management

Experience managing projects where key trades are performed with in-house labor

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Demonstrate a history of completion projects on time and within budget constraints

Must possess valid drivers license and be able to pass pre-employment testing

Experience with Planning and Building departments and obtaining approvals

Experience working with architects and taking projects from concept to completion

Strong PC and technical skills including Word, Outlook, Excel

Must be highly organized and detail oriented

Travel required as necessary

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detailed understanding of construction procedures and materials and project management principles

Restaurant specific experience is preferred
