Status: Full-time
Compensation: Starting at $21.00 hourly
$300 Sign-on Bonus After Completion of a 90-day Probationary Period.
The receiving lead coordinator assists the Receiving Manager in handling the daily operations of the Receiving Department. This individual will ensure that all desk coordinators and receiving associates follow the set process and procedures to receive products into the system. He/she will also be monitoring the PO auditing team, generating performance reports, and working closely with the purchasing and inventory department.
Essential Functions:

- Assists the Receiving Supervisor/Manager in providing guidance and leadership to the receiving associates and coordinators.
- Creates and manages purchase orders; tracks and reports on daily incoming shipments and associates' productivity.
- Unpacks examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, and records shortages. Receives and processes all defective parts returned.
- Reports shortages and defective products or products of questionable conditions to the department supervisor or manager.
- Coordinates with purchasing department to ensure incoming shipments match purchase
- Orders and work on back order requirements, stock shortages/pick-ups/deliveries to and from vendors.
- Leads all receiving associates and coordinators and closely monitors their work to ensure incoming shipments are handled appropriately and timely
- Prepares daily workloads and assigns daily tasks to receive associate and coordinators
- Oversees unloading, unpacking, sorting, palletizing, and stocking of every inbound shipment upon receipt.
- Collaborates with other departments to research and resolve any issues related to inbound shipments/purchase orders.
- Regularly observes and ensures associates and coordinators follow all established company policies and procedures.
- Completes incoming products inspection, confirmation of certificate of conformance and reconciliation of receiving/purchase documentation.
- Enters invoices into accounting system and completes daily receiving entries and purchase orders in the inventory management system.
- Creates and distributes useful reports using Excel and available reporting systems.
- Tracks the status of goods and materials using inventory control system.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
