Location: In-office position located in the Galleria area in Houston, TX
Salary: $40K (OT offered which brings first year to $50-$55K)

An international tax consulting firm is looking for driven, recent graduates for their entry level Data Associate openings at their corporate office in the Galleria area in Houston, TX!

As an entry level Data Associate , you will work hand-in-hand with the Project Teams while focusing on deadlines. The Data Associate is organized, detail-oriented and possesses strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with various organizational departments. This role has a data entry component to it but it's a foot in the door position to learning more about the company and how they operate.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of projects as assigned by a Data Associate Lead
• Collecting data from client's financial statements and tax forms to research and analyze to assist in finding way to qualify for federal tax credits
• Collaborate with Project Managers and project teams regarding data analytics of client tax incentives
• Perform financial analysis and initial tax assessments for clients
• Display strong communication with Project Team members as outlined by Department Standards
• Demonstrate urgency in regards to tax deadlines assigned to projects
• Continuous progression in projects assigned

Location/Salary/Benefits/Hours:

• Role is onsite in Houston, TX (Galleria Area - parking provided)
• Client will pay $2500 for relo of candidates out of Houston
• Salary is $40K (OT offered which typically brings first year to $50-$55K)
• 100% paid benefits, free onsite gym and café, catered lunches everyday and 3 weeks PTO!
• Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-6:30pm

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a professional, fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Prior working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to learn advanced Excel Formulas
• Ability to work overtime
• Minimum 10,000 kph
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Above average organizational skills
• Effectively manage multiple tasks
