Nordson MEDICAL designs, engineers and manufactures complex devices and components with applications in wound healing, surgical and minimally invasive, fluid management, pulmonology and interventional and structural heart. Our pioneering Advanced Polymers team was the first to manufacture and supply medical balloons to the medical device industry. Nordson MEDICAL works with doctors, start-ups and large medical companies around the world at any point in the product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gathering data and information to create documentation and communications such as memos, emails, reports and other correspondences. Present information as assigned, including internal metrics and communication and customer/upper management-facing presentations
  • Perform office administrative functions, including greeting guests and customers, organizing meetings for audits with Quality, answering main phoneline, receiving mail, packages, and supplies, maintaining employee phone list and guest logs, management of office supplies, updating of internal physical and electronic communication boards
  • Manage Nordson Impact activities and co-ordinate Community Affair Committee, Time to Give, employee events with the Process Improvement Council, and local volunteer projects
  • Other duties as required including but not limited to:
    • Documentation support for various departments
    • Co-ordination and collation of slides for monthly meetings
    • Prepare cubicle and office space for new hires
    • Support onboarding process
    • Present new hires, anniversaries, and community/employee events updates at company meetings
  • Similar support to the Chattanooga, TN facility (as needed)
  • All other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of experience

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Self-motivated, high energy individual
  • Must be detail oriented with a sense of urgency, strong ability to multi-task and communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Must be computer proficient (proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point)
