Malvern Treatment Centers is currently seeking a part time weekend receptionist to work every other Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am - 6:30pm.

The Receptionist is responsible for responding to incoming telephone calls and greeting visitors in a manner that conveys a friendly, caring, interested, helpful, and home-like atmosphere. He or she answers calls for multi-line switchboard and routes calls to the appropriate departments patients, or employees. A big part of this role is assisting patients and their families during visitation and helping with new admissions.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED at a minimum, the skills and experience to maintain the flow of communications, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and organize in an effective manner. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Answers the multi-line switchboard, transfers calls, and takes and delivers messages

Greets visitors and guests and provides direction and/or connection to the right person

Maintains tracking of Malvern employees throughout the day

Types work promptly with minimum supervision

Sorts and distributes mail

Maintains office supplies for copier and postage machine

Maintains change for patients

Maintains dates of treatment letters for patients and is prompt with requests

Sets up and confirms appointments as needed

Maintains in-services and organizes and tracks dates

Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required

Previous experience preferred

Excellent customer-facing and phone skills

Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills

Strong prioritization and organizational skills

Fluent English speaking/writing skills

Able to follow spoken and written instructions
