Liberty Mutual Insurance is currently hiring for a Recovery Resolution Specialist position in our Auto Property Damage subrogation team. In this role you will coordinate, investigate, negotiate, and recover on Auto claims of varying exposure by pursuing liable parties through subrogation efforts. You will put your analytical skills to work by seeking recovery on complex auto property damage, Med Pay, and No-Fault claims all while providing top-tier customer service to both our internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with other teams at Liberty Mutual and with customers.

This position will be filled as a Recovery Resolution Specialist . **This is a 100% remote position, but our preference is to select someone within driving distance to a Liberty Mutual office/claims hub.

Responsibilities

Develop a strong knowledge base of legal liability, state statutes, and auto physical damage guidelines.
Conduct in depth investigations, identifies third parties, and determines liability using both internal and external resources.
Communicate with branch office case managers, policyholders, injured employees, witnesses, claimant, and involved parties, etc. in order to gather information regarding the loss.
Notify third party and/or third-party insurance carrier of our subrogation and right of recovery.
Post Resolution Strategy or reimbursement request details in electronic file outlining the course of action to bring the recovery claim to resolution with target dates. Ensure claim file has all documents to support recovery efforts. Manage a timely diary and follow up system on case assignments.
Compile data from multiple systems, including States requiring increasingly complex processes and requirements.
Provide top-tier customer service to our customers.
Contribute to creating a welcoming and inclusive team environment.
Assist with Root Cause Problem Solving and other special initiatives within the department.
Apply recovery checks to file.
