Job Summary:The Recycle Supervisor coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of the commercial recycling area. Responsibilities of this position include; all recyclable materials are properly stored and equipment utilized is available and in proper working condition. Performs hands-on duties of a Recycler, which includes collecting and transporting recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, plastic, and metal from various locations throughout the facility to the appropriate recycling area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Ensures all Recyclers and Custodians start and complete all daily tasks as assigned.
Monitors job site to ensure pallets are stacked for loading and ensure the site is cleaned of all debris. Attaches designated recycle containers and removes them to designated area; assures empty containers are in place.
Monitors employees and client employees to ensure trash, cardboard, papers, plastic, metals, and wood are dumped in proper containers.
Ensures cardboard is placed in storage bins for bailing.
Operates bailing machine by compressing cardboard and plastic, secures bail with baling wire, and then removes bail to the staging area until the material is picked up.
Performs pre-inspection of equipment (i.e., bailer, compactor, etc.) before use and informs supervisor of any maintenance problems or repairs needed.
Reviews information on the Supervisor-to-Supervisor Report to ensure completion of unfinished tasks from the previous shift. Identifies the areas needing priority completion.
Obtains vehicles (i.e., forklift, tug, etc.) required to complete the job tasks.
Completes any daily paperwork that his/her position requires
Participates in ISO practices and embraces ISO principles and philosophies in the performance of principal duties and responsibilities.
Makes Safety the first consideration above all other responsibilities. Follows all safety rules and uses sound judgment for the protection of him/herself, co‑workers, client personnel, client invitees, general public, and property. Participates in safety training and attends safety meetings as scheduled by Supervisor. Also, responsible to report to his/her supervisor any unsafe conditions or practices.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Works in a variety of environmental conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations including heat, cold, snow, rain, wind; noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma/Transcripts are required if you graduated between 2011-2021
Language: English (Required).
Verifiable work history
Valid Driver License and clean driving record along with long version birth certificate or social security card (document must be legible/name matches)
Must be 18 years of age
