CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Hourly, Exempt

COMPENSATION: $80,000 Per year + ability to earn performance bonuses

POSITION SUMMARY: As the Regional Facilities Manager, you are a team builder, leader and expert who
provides support, mentorship and direction to ensure high level of resident and maintenance associate engagement for an assigned portfolio. This is a remote position that will have daily, on-site interaction with assigned communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership and guidance for the community maintenance teams by setting a
    service excellence standard and inspiring the teams to achieve it.
  • Promote and uphold company values, employee promises, policies, and initiatives.
  • Establish a learning culture and provide frequent training opportunities to the community
    maintenance teams.
  • Maintain positive interaction with residents, stakeholders, and community teams.
  • Responsible for training related to and full implementation of CMMS
  • Lead unit turn process in assigned portfolio, ensuring quality and readiness
  • Conduct site audits to ensure compliance in all facets of community performance, ensuring the property consistently meets company standards, including curb appeal, cleanliness,
    asset management, preventive maintenance, and safety
  • Train and verify compliance with safety policies, including OSHA (Occupational Safety &
    Health Act) standards.
  • Assess maintenance team performance and provide training to inspire associate learning
    and growth
  • Ensure timely communication with Regional Managers, community teams, and stakeholders to anticipate and prevent future concerns
  • Assist in the development and execution of capital expenditure plans at assigned properties.
  • Monitor completion of capital expenditure projects to ensure they are sourced properly, are on target with budgets and timeliness and are completed to a satisfactory level.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors that support Redstone Residential’s mission and core value
  • Promote environmentally sustainable choices and strategies and drives effort to achieve greater energy efficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years experience as a supervisor/manager within a student housing/multi-family
    portfolio.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities or Construction Management, Business Administration, or other
    related field of study preferred.
  • Spanish Fluency preferred
  • Industry certifications including Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and EPA Section 608.
  • Proficiency in apartment maintenance including plumbing, electricity, painting
    drywall, floor coverings, carpentry, locks, appliances, pools/spas, roofs, and life safety
    equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Maintenance management software experience
  • Google Suite proficiency
  • Fair Housing Training preferred
  • Driver’s License required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for 8-10 hour shifts
  • Occasionally lift/move/carry up to 50lbs with/without assistance
  • Constantly positions self to bend, stoop, reach, lift
  • Frequently lift/move/carry 10lbs
