Based in New Franken, WI the Regional Group Home Program Specialist (Program Specialist I) is responsible for day-to-day oversight and the performance of client related and other program related tasks. This includes quality assurance tasks, oversight of client care plans, conducting health related appointments, and maintenance of property and equipment. Hours: 1st shift, M-F occasional on-call or weekend possibility.
Primary Duties Include:
- Contributes to maintaining quality service through conducting reviews of client related documentation, providing medication checks, reviewing medication errors, and auditing funds and valuables.
- Monitors service and care provision for quality and effectiveness and the accurate implementation of client service plans. May assist in developing/updating and implementing changes to service plan and provision of cares to ensure positive outcomes.
- Prepares for and conducts medical appointments as assigned including all pre-appointment and follow up communication internally and with guardians, Case Managers, day program staff and other stakeholders.
- Responds to reports of client injuries, symptoms of client injuries and changes in condition to promote prompt and appropriate attention. Arranges for or seeks medical attention related to client injury and changes in condition.
- Provides leadership, support, guidance and oversight throughout the region to meet outcomes and standards.
- Maintains and demonstrates knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, applicable licensing standards, administrative procedures, confidentiality requirements, and Employee Handbook information to promote compliance in program operations.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Two (2) years of work experience overseeing the operation of multi-site community based residential supports, plus
- One (1) year of supervisory experience or commensurate management experience in the Human Services field required.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, exercise good judgment, and effectively solve problems.
- Requires exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communications, and organizational skills.
- Possesses a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license and maintains insurance on personal vehicle. Driving record must align with company insurance guidelines. Must be willing to travel to different work locations, meetings, and training sessions.
