Overview

The Regional Market Manager and Photographer - Omaha spearheads client sales, talent management, and local community relations development within the Omaha area. This individual will be involved in the local wedding and photography community as an on-staff photographer shooting exclusively for Orion Photo Group and its relevant brands. The Orion Photo Group team will support the operations infrastructure including customer service and post-production.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a passion for weddings and portraits including photographing and delivering a world-class experience for both clients and talent team members. This individual must be self-driven and dedicated to growing the local market and meeting sales goals. This person must love networking with talent and local vendors as well as having outstanding sales meetings with newly engaged couples to ensure the continued success of Orion Photo Group.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Business Development in the Omaha area for the purpose of local lead-generation opportunities including bridal shows, networking, and venue/vendor partnerships
• Meet or exceed revenue goals and sales targets
• Manage and conduct sales appointments for prospects living in the Omaha area
• Provide local photo coverage of weddings, engagement sessions, and family portraits annually
• Responsible for all talent management needs to support all pre/post-event inquiries and assignments
• Spearhead talent recruitment efforts to grow the market as needed (e.g., attend career fairs, trade shows, and or other networking events as assigned)
• Provide photo coverage for a minimum of 20 weddings annually
• Responsible for all talent management needs to support all pre/post-event inquiries and assignments
• Editing and customer service will be handled by the Orion Photo Group team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of photography experience in weddings and family portraits
• 2+ years experience in a client-facing sales role
• 3+ years minimum experience providing photo services for clients within the wedding/event space
• Experience owning and operating your own photo or video business is preferred
• Photo and video post-production experience is not required

Compensation

• Base salary plus commission and hourly rate for assigned events
• Medical and Dental Insurance
• PTO, Vacation

Candidates must live within a 60-mile radius of Omaha
